Salusbury Primary School

Greenspace

Greenspace is Salusbury Primary School’s fantastic garden, located behind the school in the corner of Willesden cemetery. In it, the children can grow vegetables and flowers, observe wildlife and nature, carry out experiments and enjoy a range of learning experiences outdoors. They visit Greenspace with their class teachers (and parent volunteers) during class time.

Greenspace is open to the local community after school, at weekends and during school holidays and anyone is welcome to visit and enjoy the garden. All we ask is that you leave your dogs outside and don’t pick any of the flowers or crops. You can get into Greenspace via the main cemetery entrance on Willesden Lane – head through the arches and turn right at the bottom of the path.

The garden was developed, funded and designed by parents of children at the school. The gardening is done by pupils, teachers and parents. Please visit the Greenspace website for more information on all activity going on in Greenspace and upcoming Dig Days.
